BEST (Board of European Students of Technology) is an international organisation that prides itself on organising quality educational events and forming lasting and potential career relationships with both the private and public technological sector across the EU.
In 2006 a friend and I were the main organisers of an intensive 7-day international ecucational event, called "Careerology: The World After Graduation".
With the help of other BEST Ljubljana club members we hosted 32 international participants (19 of them were from all over Europe, 13 from Slovenia). Each daily schedule was filled with educational and leisurly activities that lasted from morning till night.
Event organisation included: planning, project management, fundraising, PR, logistics (accomodation, transportation, venue, food & drink arrangements, etc.), IT support, event execution, evaluation.

Among other things, I wrote the introductory speech and helped with the brochure layout.
I was an active BEST member from 2005 to 2008 and helped co-organise various other international and local events of a similar scale.
